In 1991, I was assigned by the american VOGUE to photograph a selection of couturier's studies among which was Monsieur Saint Laurent's, in the beautiful avenue Marceau maison de couture. It was the most exquisite room, decorated by his lifelong friend Jacques Grange. Few personal objects summed up the couturier's imaginary world along with some drawings by Bébé Bérard and a portrait of Silvana Mangano at the peak of her beauty. Monsieur Saint Laurent's Maison de Couture has been a moment of perfection in the history of french style.
Keep up the good work.
