This is my office, studio, darkroom, workshop, storage...it serves many purposes. It stores my archives, books, travel souvenirs, much of my past and of course my dreams. The room is fairly large but the access is so small that I bad to build the working table inside. I like to work outdoors too, when weather permits I improvise a desk on the terrasse overlooking the garden.
I can imagine working outside adds to the creative process-alas in the South there are 2many mosquitoes, I would be swatting all the time. How organized you are-great space! GT
After reading about your family history on Ukrainian web sites, I'm fascinated by it. I'm also glad that the country remembers what your great grandfather did for so many people in there. Next spring while visiting Kiev I'm planning on stopping by the newly open monument to Nikolai Terestchenko to say my thank you.
almost forgot. love your shelf vignette. it that a photo of Nikolai Terestchenko on the right? and I think the drawing is of Fedor Terestchenko. am I right?

ReplyDeleteSo arty!! Loved the study ceiling which resembles mine, and the table is so fine also. Is it your design? Seems we're both country aesthetes.
