Your occasional repetition of this 'scène' is one of the hallmarks of the blog and, I'm sure, is widely awaited and appreciated. This extremely beautiful exercise in illumination celebrates a radiance on many levels and can not be forgotten. I, for one, am amused to find a plinth again of a simple board, more renewal of an aesthetic we know is yours.
Oh Dear! YOU are this blog's living memory ! The bricklaying neighbor was a constructor's apprentice. Bricks have been laid, layered oops, and the cute bricklayer long gone. No need for bees, he was the honey.

ReplyDeleteMy place is so remote. A nowhere with a lot of nothing. But then it's peaceful and full of what we make of it.
ReplyDeleteI seem to remember a really cute bricklaying neighbor. Did you drive him out with your bees?
