The tent was the Maharaja's when he went out shooting. The charpoy was a bit stiff but of course beggars are not choosers. It was simply, perfectly heavenly. When seeing these pictures again, they remind me that I was reading "A suitable boy" by Vikram Seth which I highly recommend.

The Neemrana Fort Palace is an medieval fort restored and turned into a marvelous hotel. As I could choose my room, I asked if I could sleep on the roof. To my astonishment they built a tent for me, and what a tent ! but that is for tomorrow...

Biarritz, this afternoon.
In the News stand in December 2009. AD Spain N42. A house next to Monte Carlo designed by Yves Gastou. While I was photographing it, the gardeners where trimming the olive trees as you can see here. I could see them flying in the tree top. It was an enchanting vision which captured my attention more than the house itself.
