The bedroom in San Donato
It is so important to keep an archive of the earlier days
when everything is still fresh and new.
I have in mind Tim Mawson's bedroom in
his home in Connecticut.
A cosy room full of books, textiles and colours.

My new digs in
San Donato in Poggio
in the heart of the Chianti.
Tuscany

Moved in October 1st 2021

I am deeply honoured to illustrate the December issue of The World of Interiors
which also celebrates the 40th anniversary of this unique magazine.
I have collaborated with the WoI for nearly 30 years,
through the time of Min Hogg and her brilliant successor Rupert Thomas,
every story was carved with the the most exceptional partner in crime one could dream of,
the one and only Marie France Boyer.
She will undoubtedly cringe at such praise but there we are.
This cover is closing an era for me although I shall keep on collaborating with the new editor.
Long live the queen of magazines !
