Goats ! I've always loved them, the real ones I mean. A few years ago, I sculpted a flock in the old tradition of lost wax then melted into bronze so each one is unique. The idea was to place them on the table amidst crystal and silver but most of the time, they graze on my studio shelves.

C'est un peu le probleme avec les chevres, la place est deja prise. mais n'est ce pas Picasso lui meme qui disait que l'on devient artiste parce qu'on a pas les moyens d'acheter les oeuvres de ses maitres ?!

Je reconnais bien là l'animal à fort tempérament qui trace de belles parallèles dans le paysage. (le bas du feuillage des arbres avec les paturages). J'adore ces bébêtes ! Je pense à celle de Picasso, Barcelo et désormais Terestchenko !

I absolutely love these -- I do the same thing with little bibelots, let them mingle with the crystal and silver. They're just perfect.
