The June issue of The World of Interiors is out today with a story on Christian Lacroix and Garouste et Bonetti which I photographed with Marie France Boyer to announce the sale at Sotheby's of the couture house furniture. There where two options for this cover. The chair wrapped in white paper with a double meaning : moving out for the auction, the wedding dress that traditionally ends the show. The text written by Patrick Mauries is absolutely brilliant.

Ivan, can not wait to get my issue. that photograph looks so beautiful. I did a post about CL and the design and sale of the salon furnishings. I commented then the photos(of course not yours) that the salon look ghostly- I thought this was so unique when it was first published, And it was. I am thrilled you have done it justice(I know you did) pgt

I'm stalking the magazine stand at the corner of Hollywood and Vine. When are you coming to Hollywood? We need you, I need you!

Thank you all for kind comments. It is a sad thing to see a couture house of this magnitude close its doors. The place was deserted and ghostly as it shows in the catalogue by Sotheby's but I wanted to avoid this gloom and made my best.
Kevin, I would love to come to Hollywood. Always ready for an interesting project...
