In memory of my little sister Alexandra who departed this world at the age of eighteen. My heartfelt thanks to François who sent my brother and I these precious photographs. My darling sister was the sweetest soul ever and even 27 years after I still miss her terribly. I wanted to place a mile stone in this world of the internet so she would leave some trace of her passage on this earth. The 8th of June is her birthday. Thank you all for all your kindness. I'm deeply touched.

This touched me very deeply, what a lovely memory of a beautiful spirit. I just lost my dad a few days ago, Clair de Lune was one of his favourites, too. Thank you for sharing these precious moments with us. Lizzy

Oh, Ivan, this is such a beautiful elegy to such a tragically short life. It's clear from the photos that your sister's life, while not long in years, was immense in spirit.

I remember her name from a past blog post of yours (wasn't there a photo you posted?) and have always wondered who she was (cousin? daughter? niece?) Now I know...and am deeply touched.

Dear Ivan, Words cannot express the beauty and emotion your tribute to your beloved sister evoked in me. Thank you for sharing, but a glimpse, of your love for her with us and the love she undoubtedly had for life.
